New UV and IR protection combined in one filter from Uvex’s latest innovation means that green welding filters are a thing of the past.  Grey is the new tint in welding.

This well researched and developed technology meets the stringent requirements of both Australia and New Zealand Standards AS/NAS 1337.1 and 1338.1 and the European Stanadards EN 166 and EN 172.

The combination of this technology with the infradur coating (anti-fog on the inside for welders comfort and anti-scratch on the outside for durability) protects the lens against welding splatters to maintain high visibility.  As a result the welding assistant wide vision spectacles and welding goggles are now available in smart, light weight design eye protectors.
