It’s a new financial year – how can that influence your eye protection ordering?

So if you need any eye protection equipment and want to write it off this financial year, then you will be all over the fact that we are now in July.  Also for those of you that belong to the Defence Health Fund, it is a new financial year – which means that you have your full Optical allocation ready to use again.  Just in case you didn’t already know, you can claim your prescription safety glasses back from your health fund.

So what do you need to have to be ready to order your prescription safety glasses?

You need to make sure you have a current prescription (preferably less than 12 months old).  Once you have a current prescription in your hand.  Then you just need to choose your frame and order your safety glasses.  Don’t worry about the inputting of your prescription.  We know that people can be concerned about inputting their prescription details correctly.  That’s if they should make a mistake then they could end up with lenses they can not see through.  Well, you can set those fears aside, we do not create your safety glasses from the prescription you input.  We use the numbers of the prescription you upload to create your prescription safety glasses.

Should we have any questions about your order, such as lens selection or frame selection for the prescription and its suitability?  We contact you before the order is started.  We also advise you to contact us if you have any questions about frame suitability for your prescription.  We do have an extensive range of prescription safety frames to choose from.  This means that we will have something that will suit your prescription and needs.

We provide radiation protection glass lenses as an option for over 6 different frames.  So if you need protection against radiation then we can help with this as well.
