Need safety glasses for Carpentry?

When writing this blog, I looked up the definition for a Carpenter and this is what came up.  Carpentry is a skilled trade in which the primary work performed is the cutting, shaping and installation of building materials during the construction of buildings, ships, timber bridges, concrete formwork, etc.

The reason that I looked up a definition was that my understanding of carpentry involved the use of timber to build framework and furniture and the like.  I hadn’t thought of framework for concrete but it makes sense being that they are generally constructed out of timber.

That being said Carpenters to my knowledge, use nail guns, sanders, hammers, chisels and drills routinely.  Which means that they are constantly in danger of being hit by flying debris, be it metal or timber.  Therefore the requirement for medium impact safety glasses 1337.6 is a must.  They may wish to wear positive sealed or safety goggles to keep the dust or wood shavings from sanding away from their eyes.

The aim of this blog is to convey to people working as Carpenters or with wood/timber need to protect their eyes with quality safety glasses.
