Get your prescription safety glasses order in to use your 2017 Health fund.

A new year has started, this means good news, as most of the health funds have renewed your optical allocation ready for the new year.  Implications of this include, those who have been waiting to order new prescription safety glasses or people with old prescription safety glasses that have scratched lenses, it is time to start ordering some new ones to take advantage of your health fund.  I know how expensive health funds can be, it doesn’t make sense to waste your optical allocation as they don’t carry it over to the next year for you.

Especially since we have added some new brands to the certified medium impact prescription range: Onguard (a nearly totally clear frame for great visibility) Designed for nurses and other health professionals, also perfect for people who like more visibility and don’t like to see their glasses frame.  Also ArmouRx which is a new ladies shell frame in purple and/or orange.  It has attached side shields and is one of the most stylish ladies safety glasses frames on the market.  IT is also comfortable to wear too, without nose pads and having spring sides.

We have over 60 styles in our prescription certified safety glasses range, so you are sure to find a frame to suit.  Which includes; older style metal aviator frames with attached side shields, to the newer wrap-around sunglass styles, to the metal free and prescription safety goggles.  Basically we have you covered no matter your occupation and lens requirements.  An extreme example is high impact – for this you need to have certified medium impact safety glasses and wear a full face shield (like the Bolle Sphere) over them.  Both of which are available on the website.

Speaking of medium impact lenses you can order single vision, bifocal or multifocal lenses in clear, polarised or transition.  Various coatings are available depending on the frame choice.  Including mirror, anti-reflective, anti-fog and the standard hard-coat which is included in the listed price.  All of the other options are listed in the drop down menus and incur an additional charge.  Please be aware not all of the coatings are available for all of the frames.

All of our certified prescription safety glasses come with relevant paperwork to show medium impact certification and compliance to Australian and New Zealand standard AS/NZ 1337.6.  They also come with a hard case and express post shipping.  Therefore the listed price includes all of these things and clear single vision prescription lenses.
